Letters to the Editor Gov. Sarah Palin recently responded to a bill introduced by California Congressman George Miller in regard to the predator control problem by stating it's an issue to be decided by Alaskans. I am not sure where she was when it was decided twice by Alaskans, who also voted to move the capital out of Juneau. It makes no sense to make a statement like that as a politician if you are going to go ahead and ignore the public's voice on these issues. No matter where you stand on these issues, it might be time for our elected officials to start listening to the people instead of wasting state money on ballot issues whose results are ignored. |
