Aerial Wolf Killing Makes National News! |

As part of the kick off for Alaska Wildlife Alliance's campaign in support of the ban on airborne wolf killing, we want to draw your attention to three important news items:
- Representative George Miller's Protect America's Wildlife (PAW) Act would end aerial hunting of wolves in Alaska and prevent the practice from being adopted in the Lower 48 United States. In essence, this legislation would require that accepted science defining a biological emergency exists before airborne killing is allowed and then conducted only by professionals. Click here to review the proposed PAW Act. Please contact your Representatives and ask them to support this important legislation.
- The Alaska Wildlife Alliance worked with Defenders of Wildlife to produce a powerful video on this subject. Please be sure and check out this YouTube video.
- An important letter that reinforces the need for both the PAW Act and our initiative to stop airborne wolf killing, was composed by Wildlife Biologist Vic Van Ballenberghe. Please read this letter that was signed on to by about 200 scientists from across America.
As we kick off the most challenging campaign in Alaska Wildlife Alliance's history, please remember our precious wolves and bears with a donation to this critical cause. Now is the time to launch this effort so important to future generations.
