Wildlife viewing is an important and growing part of Alaska’s tourism industry, and many operators share our commitment to protecting the wildlife that makes this state so extraordinary. By partnering with Alaska Wildlife Alliance, your business can help protect the wildlife and places that make Alaska extraordinary.

AWA’s Conservation Partner program offers several ways for wildlife viewing companies to support our conservation work, connect guests with wildlife education, and become part of a community committed to the long-term protection of Alaska’s wildlife.

How to Become a Conservation Partner

Contribute Directly to AWA

Support AWA’s ongoing conservation work through an annual donation, a contribution tied to a wildlife viewing trip. Whether you choose to donate a percentage of your trip fees or a flat annual amount, your support helps protect the ecosystems that make Alaska an unforgettable experience for your guests. You can also support AWA by sponsoring one of our events, like our monthly Wildlife Wednesday presentations or our annual Hibernation Celebration wildlife fundraiser. Add AWA to Your Itinerary

Give your guests a deeper connection to Alaska’s wildlife through an educational presentation from AWA. Our staff can speak with your guests about Alaska’s wildlife, conservation challenges, and the work underway to protect the places they’ve come to experience.

Presentations can be tailored to your trip and are available in person or online. We are currently scheduling for both 2027 and 2028 seasons. Contact Chelsey at chelsey@akwildlife.org to discuss your itinerary, presentation requests, and pricing.

Presentation Packages and Rates

Rates depend on location and presentation length, and educational sessions can be tailored to your trip. Presentation guests will receive AWA pamphlets and stickers, and your organization will be invited to our pre-season Conservation Update and Guide Recommendations webinar.

• Anchorage | $1,000: A one-hour in-person presentation with an AWA staff or board member.

• Homer, Kenai, or Seward | $1,500: A one-hour in-person presentation with an AWA staff or board member.

• Juneau, Fairbanks, Nome, and all other Alaska locations: Contact us for pricing information.

• Zoom | $500: A one-hour virtual session with a senior AWA staff member.

• Extended sessions: Tailored sessions longer than one hour incur an additional fee of $250/hour.

Donate a Trip

Looking for a deeper way to support Alaska’s wildlife? Consider donating a trip to AWA for a raffle or silent auction prize.

Trip donations are a meaningful way to support AWA’s conservation work while allowing your business to connect with wildlife supporters and reach new audiences. AWA will promote your donated trip and your company on social media, our website, and in our newsletters throughout our fundraising efforts, boosting your company's visibility while also helping raise funds for wildlife conservation.
