Whittier Harbor Clean Up with Dive Alaska - Come See AWA!

Dive Alaska is hosting the fourth annual Whittier Harbor Clean Up on Saturday, February 7pm from 10:00am to 3:00pm, at the main Whittier Boat Launch.

All levels of scuba divers and free divers are welcome, as well as non-divers! Non-divers are always in high demand, and can help transport trash carts and catalogue debris. Volunteers from past events have cleaned up around 4,000 pounds of marine litter!

There will be no fee for the Whittier Tunnel, courtesy of Alaska DOT. Food and drinks will be provided, and there will be prizes given out. There will also be warm up stations, fire pits, and educational tables! Swing by one of the tables to meet the AWA staff and learn more about our work.
