Hibernation Celebration Wildlife Fundraiser

Whales can't tell us about the changing oceans, moose don't understand crosswalks, and bears are definitely not welcome at town hall meetings. Founded in 1978, the Alaska Wildlife Alliance gives a local voice to Alaska’s wildlife by advocating for healthy ecosystems across the state. Every year, we host a Hibernation Celebration fundraiser to build support for our wildlife conservation programs across the state, in conjunction with a silent auction!

Join us at Writer’s Block in Anchorage on December 4 for a presentation on our 2025 work, meet the faces behind AWA, and participate in a live silent auction.
